On 28 September 2005, the Pentagon formally approved full-rate production for the V-22. The plan is to boost production from 11 a year to between 24 and 48 a year by 2012. Of the 458 total planned, 360 are for the U.S. Marine Corps, 48 for the Navy, and 50 for the Air Force at an average cost of $110 million per aircraft, including development costs. The V-22 had an incremental flyaway cost of $67 million per aircraft in 2008, but the U.S. Navy hopes to shave about $10 million off that cost after a five-year production contract in 2013.

thats what i thought. my boss says it might be the army, or reserves doing practice drills. i guess one was here a few weeks ago and someone filmed it taking off from our airport.

this one is hanging around still. landing and taking off from the airport, then circling around flying over our shop and back to the airport. its pretty bad ass. I've been outside wathing it with my binoculars. It finally took off and headed west though.

My old work is right by the airport. Airplanes were constantly going overhead. My favourite was when the fighter planes were taking off. You could hear it through the building.
Every year the Bombers have military day and they do a fly over. Best thing ever!!!
