Wednesday 1/8/2014...A day of disaster

honey baked ham. yum. lot of good food talk up in here today. chop up some honey baked ham and toss it in with the velveeta and shells. delicious.

Jim's birthday is on Sunday. I am making a maple honey glazed ham with either asparagus spears or dill carrots and pumpkin meringue tarts for dessert.

Baba used to make them all the time. It's basically either baby carrots or sliced carrots in a butter sauce then dill mixed in with it. I like it... Far better than velveeta cheese

1) The coop is overpriced, it's the only grocery store in town when the other one closed up they jacked the prices. A lot of times the sale price is the regular price in the city.

2) The ones that live closer to the border cross over to get groceries and fuel because it's cheaper. For me the 3 hour drive to the border then the 1-1/2 drive to Grand Forks isn't worth it.
