20 years and still no. Damn bro. You got to be getting close to top dog
 it's all good. I get 5 weeks, 4 personal & 7 holidays so I'm good!!!

Holidays aside...
I don't get why companies give so much time off.
And at the same time, why employees would want so much time off.
That's almost 6 weeks off you get a year. Do you get paid for that if you don't use it?
I'd MUCH rather get that extra 10%-ish worth pay, then the time off.
If you do get paid for it, then hey, good on you.
I agree, I accumulate time off for every 7 hours I work.

I work a 35 hour work week, plus any extra hours I put in I get paid extra for.
I get about 7 hours of PTO for every 2 weeks I work. It works out to 26 days of PTO a year. I lose it all at the end of every year.
Right now I have 80 hours to use, but no one to cover my work. So I am stuck, I was off today, but logged in for an hour to finish important work due today.

I would love to get a check for 2 weeks for the time I did not get to use.

I would kill for 5 weeks of vacation and 4 personal days.

Seriously, I would literally kill.

Of course he gets paid for it.

That is pretty standard to start a job in Europe.

They give it off b/c it improves moral and keeps the worker healthy and rested so that they perform better while at work.

I completely agree with it.
