no they didnt. but they did change the way cell phones are these days

They had a part in it. Blackberry was kind of the pioneer when it comes to smart phones. Apple took the Blackberry idea and made it more home user friendly. Android opened up the existing market and built off of it. In comparison to each other I think what Android did made less of an impact than what Apple and Blackberry did.

Android is proof that another OS platform can be successful. If people would just adopt Linux like they did Android we wouldn't be trapped in a Windows\MAC world and bound to their shitty licensing.

I agree, blackberry started but didnt have the mass appeal that apple did. blackberry was always seen as corporate. And its not the older corporate folks that set the market on tech, its the kids. I dont see linux becoming mainstream ever

1. OBAMA DEFENDS SURVEILLANCE AMID GLOBAL UPROAR

This is pretty fucked up

2. POLICE USE TEAR GAS TO MOVE TURKEY PROTESTERS
Some activists lobbed fireworks and stones at hundreds of police who pushed through barricades to scatter people who have occupied an Istanbul park for more than a week.
Fuck anyone that's not Merica! Except Canada. I like those guys.

3. FIRST VOTES SET ON IMMIGRATION
While the Senate prepared for procedural votes to allow debate to move forward, senators prepared amendments on border security and health care.
Drones on the border will open up more landscaping opportunities for white guys

4. US DROPS OPPOSITION TO AGE LIMITS FOR MORNING-AFTER PILL
The Obama administration said it would drop its appeal to the judge's order to make emergency contraception available to girls of all ages.
At some point a parent should know if their 12 year old is out having sex...

5. JOURNALIST WHO BROKE NSA STORY DOESN'T HIDE HIS OPINION

Merica has failed us.

6. SELECTION A SLOW PROCESS IN ZIMMERMAN CASE
Attorneys interviewed just four potential jurors Monday, including one who said both Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin were at fault.
The more I think about it, the more I think the guy could be innocent. I think the media blew this thing up because they wanted it to be a black and white thing.

7. FAMILY TURMOIL OF SANTA MONICA GUNMAN
The mother of the man who shot five people, including his father and brother, said her husband became abusive five years into her marriage when she moved from Lebanon to join him I the U.S.

8. HOW TO SECURE THE OLYMPICS
Russian officials say they will use drones and robotic vehicles to make sure the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi will be "the safest Olympics in history."
All I know is you wouldn't catch me dead there.

9. WHAT'S NEW ON THE NEXT PLAYSTATION
Playstation 4 costs about $100 less than Microsoft's Xbox One, and doesn't require a steady online connection for its games.
Playstation wins. I hope no one buys an XBOX

10. TEBOW TO JOIN FORMER TEAM'S RIVAL
The ex-New York Jet is expected to join the New England Patriots minicamp today.
Does it really matter who's bench he's warming?

Just my thoughts...
