I actually have my old Motorola Droid here at work that I connect to the WiFi, and I use that to listen to Sirius, MP3s, any podcast...
I have my speakers plugged into it, and I keep it plugged in so I don't have to worry about using my phone and keeping it charged.

Hell I've even plugged a cable from the phone into the mic port on the PC just so I could use the volume controls on my keyboard. I also connect my phone to Wifi and plug in a USB cable from my laptop to my phone to keep the battery charged.

If ya want to spend a bit you can get the XM Lynx. It connects over Wifi when you're not in the car and I can use it with my Bluetooth headphones.
