Are your guys union? Our attendance policy is a point system, 5 points rolling 12 months. 1/2 point late, 1 point call off, 1 1/2 point call off less than hour before shift, 2 points no call no show. Its been in their contract for 4 years now and i've never seen anyone hit 5 points.

non union. yes point system. 6 pt in a rolling 6mo period is termination. 1 pt for call off, we dont really use the late thing, but 1/2 pt. we also have a 2 for 1 special on call offs, you can call off 2 days in a row and it only counts as 1 pt
