Jim had some pootein supplements that boost your metabolism (and heart rate) You're only supposed to consume a portion of one pack and that damn dog ate the whole pack. We were waiting to see if he would have a heart attack from it. He was fine, though.
Other than we really don't have time for a dog... this is why we don't have one. The inlaws dog last night was trying to steal Julianna's bun and then was trying to steal the ham off the counter.
He wasn't always that bad. Just before I moved in, Jim's sister lived with him for a spell. She would give both her dog and his dog the leftovers from dinner and I think that's when his dog developed a taste for people food and discovered that there were more things to eat than just his dog food.
It is trainable, but easier to start with them right away. His dog is 7 yrs and would be nearly impossible to stop now.
Just because someone can call me Mom now doesn't mean I am gonna be Betty Freakin Cocker and bake any pies.
