I used to tailgate at Michigan State games all the time about 10 years ago, when friends were still going there.
We'd get in line Friday night, sleep in our cars so we could get a spot when they opened the tailgate area at 6.
MSU tailgates were insane, a huge field packed with people drinking. Beer bongs, every drinking game you can think of, grills, everything.
Then MSU played Notre Dame one night at 8.
So the tailgate was going for a good, solid 12 hours.
Everybody was retarded drunk.
MSU changed all the tailgate rules after that one.
No square tables, you can only tailgate for 3 hours before the game.
It sucks.
Maybe they've loosened up since then.

I barely do anything with mine, I just pick the players, leave them alone, and hope for the best. (For the most part)
