It all depends on how fucked the battery is. Have you taken a voltmeter and checked the battery yet?

Take a voltmeter to the battery and check it out. If your battery is reading 12V then it could be your rectifier or alternator - I would lean more to the rectifier since the alternator would kill the bike when you drove it.

So I rode my bike yesterday, started fine after I had to push it in the morning, no problems. This morning I go to start it and same problem, battery barely has enough juice to turn it over, end up pushing again.

Is this battery or voltage rectifier

should mention battery is 3 yrs old

could be both.

if the battery has been run down, it may not be able to store the Amperage capacity to get it started. this is usually due to the battery wearing out, or the alternator not maintaining the charge or charging the battery at a proper level
