The Water Works Department will be performing its annual flushing of the water mains starting June 6th, 2011, flushing will be taking place bettween the hours of 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and should take 1 week to complete. During this time the flushing process could cause sediment and discoloration in your water supply, which has been referred to "Red Water". Residents are therefore advised to check the condition of the water entering their premises before doing laundry as clothes may be stained

We also get red water depending on Monday nights when the fire department are doing fire training.
