Harvest Moon Pumkin Ale
#1
Got a bottle of this from the grocery store the other day and had it last night.

It is Blue Moons fall seasonal. I never even knew Blue Moon had a seasonal. I like Blue Moon and this was good also, not overpowering, no nasty aftertastes, yet truly tasted like a fall brew. You can really taste the pumpkin, cloves, allspice and nutmeg. I highly recommend getting a 6 pack.

There are so many good pumpkin ales and Oktoberfest beers this time of year, I recommend not getting more than a 6 of any of them b/c you really want to try them all. Unless you are LeNeve, your not putting down more than a case a week, so a 6 of each is best IMHO.

I want to try this. I've only seen 12-packs of it though. I'm working on a 6-pack of Saranac Pumpkin Ale right now. If the Blue Moon is anything like the Saranac, I'm sure I'll like it.

Harvest moon is good... I don't think I'd call it great and generally I can find other things I enjoy drinking. But if I see it on tap, I'll have a pint or 3.

I don't like pumpkin flavor. If someone had this and gave me one I might try it. I'm scared to buy it and not like it.

I had this today, I enjoyed it. Not a lot of pumpkin flavor but everything seemed balanced and overall tasty.

My uncle from out of town brought a case of this stuff over for new years. Definitely one of the better tasting beers I've had. It gets my thumbs up.
