Courtney Love may have solved the missing plane mystery... I don't know how, because the stupid link is blocked.

My Elantra has 120,000 miles on it. There's no way it will see 200,000. Rust will destroy it long before that happens.

jeebus, the parts I need for my Dads truck total 700 dollars. Thats my discounted cost too. full retail might be 1200 bucks. ouch. hopefully he'll smack my little brother around a little bit. Or teach him a real lesson, and give him my little escort to drive, and I'll drive the truck.

I heard about that this morning.
And was hoping I would see the picture she posted.
But that link didn't even show it.
It had this, then some "totally unrelated news" about what she has going on in her life. And links to information about her tour.
Using Tomnod, the online satellite imagery map website set up to crowdsource info on the plane's location, Love posted an image on her Facebook page of a body of water with the words "Oil" and "Plane" crudely drawn in Microsoft Paint with respective arrows drawn on the image.
"I'm no expert but up close this does look like a plane and an oil slick," wrote Love. "Prayers go out to the families #MH370 and its [sic] like a mile away Pulau Perak, where they 'last' tracked it 5°39'08.5"N 98°50'38.0"E but what do I know?"

I finally found a local place with decent prices too. 227.90 4 tires mounted and balanced. not bad, especially considering I spent 100+ on ONE tire last year from the other tire store in town. IT was Saturday, and the only people open, so whatever.
Don't you have a tire machine and balancer at your work? When I worked at Canadian Tire I got cost + 10% on the tires and I just put them on myself.
nope. we don't even have an alignment machine. suppopsedly we are supposed to be setting up a tire program someday. at the quick lane oil change place anyway. not here in the main shop.

My neon has 105,000 miles on it and there is a couple of rust spots on it. Only places the body shop has replaced and painted.
If it sees 200,000 miles it's because I gave it some TLC, it's starting to fall apart.

Hmm. A tire machine and balancer is on the list of things we want to get for our shop. An AC machine of our own would be A+ too.

If it sees 200,000 miles it's because I gave it some TLC, it's starting to fall apart. I had a flat tire last month. The lip where the car gets jacked up from collapsed and the top of the jack sunk into the rocker panel. So that's the forth rust hole on the car now.

we have 5 A/C machines. I'm not sure why. I've never seen more than 2 of them being used at the same time.

I think a couple of the AC machines are for the old r-12 refridgerant, which is pretty rare to find in a vehicle these days. all the old r-12 systems have been converted over to r-134 by now.

Aww... The clutch on my car started slipping, the ac compressor went on it two years ago (it's a black car with black leather interior... It needs it), the drivers wheel bearing has been humming since August sometime, it overheats in the summer, the cam sensor is gone on it again. The front brakes started squealing the day before we left for Vegas. I replaced them, I wish I has more time I would have done the wheel bearing too.

And since I wasn't here yesterday, yeah, Walking Dead might have had it's best episode ever.
