My Bonneville is a '98, I won't hit 200,000 miles on it until next year. This winter has caused a couple rust spots on it and wore out the tires. I am hoping to get at least another couple years out of it. I do like not having a car payment.

the last car payment I ever had was in 2000, or 2001. and it was only a 1500 dollar loan, that i needed quick to buy a low mileage government vehicle from an auction. Drove it for a year, and sold it for a 1000 dollar profit too.

i need new tires on my car. bad. Too the point where it isn't even safe. I think the tires have been on there for about 10 years now. 2 of them have for sure, then I got the other 2 a couple years later I think.

I wish. It means I have to drive a pick up truck. Bag and box everything. Put it in a 12x12 trailer, tarp it, bring it to town. Store it and when the truck becomes available in 3 days I can squish it.

My Dakota was a 98.
I really miss that truck.

We have white 99 ram 2500, a 99 dodge ram 3500 and a 99 Dakota. We only ever drive the 2500 now and it's a work truck.

My Dad said he would buy me a set of tires for my car for working on his truck. so thats cool. I finally found a local place with decent prices too. 227.90 4 tires mounted and balanced. not bad, especially considering I spent 100+ on ONE tire last year from the other tire store in town. IT was Saturday, and the only people open, so whatever.

Those late 90s dodge trucks seem to be pretty good. I've always like them. My friend had a new sport ram in high school. That thing was awesome. then he rolled it like 14 times after ramping some train tracks.

There is a burnt orange '01 Firebird that is sitting in someone's yard on my way to my mom's. Jim and I have given thought of checking out and trying to buy it cheap and then trying to flip it.

I bought my Dakota new in '98, then my Sebring new in '06.
Other then the beaters I had in high school and right out of high school, those are the only 2 vehicles I've had.
The Dakota had over 230,000 when I turned to sharp around a pole and totaled it. ad:
It still ran perfect.
I've driven a lot in the last 16 years.

I think I can get away with just replacing the 2 rear tires. It seems like I just bought these, but I guess it was 4 years ago that I got them. It doesn't help that the potholes are awful.

The previous owners were old folks, so it had a low mileage when I bought it... which is why I bought it.

Don't you have a tire machine and balancer at your work? When I worked at Canadian Tire I got cost + 10% on the tires and I just put them on myself.
