My wedding was on a friday afternoon. Nobody's weekend was ruined, the wedding was local so no one had to travel

We tried to make it convenient for everyone, and I think we did a good job.

Here's something......if you have a friend who is strapped for cash, ask him if he/she can afford to be in the wedding. You wont look like an asshole, and that friend will be happy that you asked.

My buddies wedding cost me around $700. I had to buy a suit, pay for golf ($175), gifts, and pay for where we stayed. It was bullshit. and the only reason I did it is because I've been friends with him since I was 12

Wedding was at 3. People had to leave work (to be at the church part) at 2 pm. the reception was at 5-6 oclock, so they could come after work. Like I said, we tried to make it as convenient as possible
