Actually, I have spent time in Detroit for work, and while almost everything there is a SHITHOLE, Greektown is pretty fun, good food, bars, casino and not dangerous. The area around the stadiums is pretty cool also. Going to a Tigers game and then going to Greektown is a good time. Just don't leave that downtown area.....
Mexcian Town has some awesome food too, not much else though.
Everything else, you have to go to the suburbs for.
