Desktops are also easier to fix and upgrade.

My laptop is a fancy paperweight thanks to my FIL. I will need to drive into the city and buy a new one. My FIL suggests a desktop. I think he's gone cuckoo.

Don't get a desktop, it limits you too much.

I need a new laptop soon also, what kind are you thinking of getting? Sony stopped making laptops, so I am thinking HP next time, not sure yet though.

We got rid of our desktop when we moved In March because we never used it anymore, just the laptop.

I was just looking at one of those ultra books but I'm hesitant, I asked Joe for recommendations. I'm waiting to hear back.

Yeah, but T is always moving around and on the go. If I had some FU money and a bigger office space at home, I would set up a desktop with 3 monitors and all that cool shit, but I am on the go and need to do lots of typing on the go, so laptops are my thing fo sho.

Windows 8 seems to be made to work as a tablet OS, and computer OS.
But I've never used it, so I don't really know.

At work, we tried using Google Drive to back up all of our working jobs.
But, it wasn't deleting stuff when we deleted it off our hard drives, so it eventually filled up and stopped backing things up.
And we have been too busy/lazy to try and figure it out.

Google+ burned thru 4 gb of my data allowance by backing up stuff on my phone. I am still trying to figure that out since it was all done within the past week.

Typing on a laptop is always slower. I need to upgrade to a new laptop, mine just isn't fast enough.

My sister bought a HP touchscreen, but I still use it as a laptop and go for the touchpad before I even think of the touchscreen. I'd have to use it more to get use to it. My next one will probably be a touchscreen.

The major downside to the tablets is just that some tasks will get done more slowly. Like at the Verizon store when they take forever just to type your name. I still want my full size keyboard to work from and a large monitor (or 2).
