At work I have AutoCAD 2010 with 4GB of DDR ram, and a single core 3Ghz chip ( :? ) and a GT220 video card with a gig of DDR2 ram.
And at home I have AutoCAD 2012 (free bootleg :happy: )with 4GB of DDR2 ram, a Q6600 (1.9GHz I think) quad core and an 8800GTS.
My computer at home is a whole lot faster then my computer at work.
We've looked at upgrading computers at work and they've told us that once you get up to that much ram, the processor will be the limiting factor.
