brampton -- did you figure out my am radio deal yet? or suggestions?

-antenna cable may be bad
-check if you have a powered antenna, and if it is check the power/ground on it

no, i missed, it. How do i tell if its a powered antenna? I have one plug on the back of the radio, the standard antenna plug. I believe it should run both the am and fm bands, since the antennas are located inside the rear window. Fm works fine

the antenna will have a + and - wires running off of it.........unfortunately based on the location (where is that) you'll either have to pull down the headliner or possibly the a-pillar trim panel

or

with the radio out, wiggle the antenna cable in the radio and see if the reception changes......possible the connectors pins have spread and arent making good contact
