Freakonomics, its on Netflix now.
It is a series of documentaries by different film makers on different topics, (black & white names, abortion & crime, cheating on tests & in sumo wrestling, incentives for HS students). I think it is sort of intended to be shown in classes 1 piece at a time to facilitate some discussion- so it doesn't watch like a real movie if you are viewing it straight through.
Before you dismiss it because it looks nerdy (i.e. because I suggested it), give it a shot and just watch a segment.
