I don't know if I could shoot someone in the face, or if I would freeze or whatever. I do know for a fact, that if I did shoot someones face off, I would sleep fine at night. I wouldn't feel bad. I guess if the intruder had a baby with him, and was just trying to steal a sandwich, I might feel bad.
