Some die hards actually sent baby booties to NBC as a plea to keep the show. i followed the creator of the show on twitter but there's no hope for it now.

I don't understand why shows like that don't get picked up by TBS, TNT, CW, WB, USA and all those other cable networks, they would get their best ratings ever if they had continued Las Vegas, or other shows I liked like Jericho and The Unit.

Jericho was an awesome show, it was based in western Kansas also. A bunch of nukes went off in the major US cities and people were trying to survive in their town. GOOD show, lasted two seasons.

It was loaded with hot chicks, famous people and Josh Duhmal and James Caan were in it.

The Unit had Denis Haysbert in it, the all state guy. It was about a sort of Army Delta force and their families. Good show.
