I love flying. The part I don't like and I start to panic is when they load you on the plane and move it around the Tarmac and you sit there for 30-45 minutes.

Took a flight from Wichita to Denver once. took off at 11am landed at 11:11 AM or something like that. only took 10 minutes with the time zone change.

strapped a cargo parachute to a harness, and tied it to a pickup, sat in the harness. Then flew that for 5 minutes, crashed hard into sticker patches. Worst flight ever.

My friends and I went snowkiting through school. So much fun.

My longest flight so far is New York to Ireland, it was 6 hours I think.

Flights from here to Chicago are like that.  It's less than an hour long, and it lands 10 minutes after it takes off, with the time change.

Going there, we take off at 6:30pm, and land at 9:00am the next day.
Coming back we take off at 11:30 and land at 3:30 the same day.
My worse flight was my shortest: Flint to Chicago. Chicago was getting pummeled by thunderstorms and lightning struck the tip of the wing as we were landing. Lightning makes me nervous as it is, but lightning in striking right outside of a plane suspended in the air scared the shit out of me. The landing sucked to.. I've never seen rain so heavy that it was easily ankle deep on the tarmac. (I would up stuck there for 9 hours too).

I like flying too.  It's the crashing part that bothers me.

It's safer to fly than it is to drive.
