With all the miles we had, (we got most of them because we pretty much paid for the whole wedding with our Delta AmEx cards) we only had to buy 2,000 miles and transfer a few more thousand, and we were able to get first class on a direct flight from Detroit to Rome.
Right now, flying first class has me the most excited.

That's Awesome!!!
That would be cool. I've always wanted to fly first class. I bet they play a movie, Happy Gilmore probably, and serve trail mix, and bud light in red plastic cups.

You can actually get a ton of stuff in even the economy class.
This is what's on the international routs.
Oh, and free beer

How long is a flight from Detroit to Rome?
Don't let the Pope touch your b-hole.
Sorry sir "Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip" is the only movie available right now. Would you like it on repeat for the duration of the flight?
BLOC PARTY-HYMNS too prepare you for your visit to the Vatican!!

It's just under 9 hours going there.
And just over 10 coming back.
I managed to be terrified the entire 4 and a half hour flight across the country. I cant imagine 9 hours or pure terror
longest flight I have ever been on was Denver to LAX. I don't remember how much time it took. It was pretty short though.

Took a flight from Wichita to Denver once. took off at 11am landed at 11:11 AM or something like that. only took 10 minutes with the time zone change.

strapped a cargo parachute to a harness, and tied it to a pickup, sat in the harness. Then flew that for 5 minutes, crashed hard into sticker patches. Worst flight ever.

I was only scared landing at DIA. the turbulence there sucks. The seatbelts were actually needed to keep us from dying like goose from top gun.
We flew from NYC to Honolulu for our honeymoon, the flight was 11 1/2 hours. We wanted to get there instead of a layover in California. We paid extra for extra comfort seats, totally worth it

I wish yesterday's weather was today because it's super windy today.  I would have liked to lay out on the deck.

It's just straight up awful here.  It's like 50 and rainy.  It's been raining for days.

High of 70F today, would be a lot warmer if we didn't have the wind.
Yesterday my part of the province the high temp was 93F.  Churchill which is in the northern part was 24F. Crazy.  Today it's snowing in Gillam.  We aren't expected to get rain until mid next week at the latest.

I saw someone saying that the smoke form those fires have blown down towards Montana.  You haven't seen anything yet, have you?

No not yet. Not even the one that's 1 1/2 hour away we can see yet. Must be the way the wind is blowing

I could make it once or twice through the movie for sure. My kids have it... I'm sure I've seen it at least a dozen times already.
