It's party day today!!! The concrete plant and it's finishing crew are all going down to the silver foxes sons house for pizza, perogies and beer. I have been tasked with bringing cookies.

I walked in to work with a text that the boos guy is bitching that I never did something that he never told me to do.

Today is the party day for me at work too.
But that's just because I'm the only one here.
So, I'll be going to the bar soon.

I don't really have much to do.
We have one job, for a GM plant just outside of Nashville that we can't really do much with until we go field measure.
And we're not doing that until after the new year.
And we have a couple other big jobs that don't start until after the new year.
But, I get to try and fill today, tomorrow and Wednesday with work.
They said I could work Friday too. :?
But after that, I'm off until the 5th.

This made me chuckle.

Kind of slightly related.
I was talking to a guy who got a GMC truck a few weeks ago.
He picked it up on a Friday, then had a recall on it Monday.
I just did the *cough*GM*cough* thing

And I got to thinking, my '98 Dakota had one recall for a break line.
My '07 Sebring had one recall on it for a little plastic part that attached to a spring on the shifter. But, it already broke on mine and I fixed it myself.
In 16 years I've had 2 recalls. I think that's pretty good.

Our party day will be tomorrow. The boss dude will be gone all day. :happy: :happy:
