Abandoned plants...
The old Packard Plant is where to go if you want to check out an abandoned plant.
The scene in Transformers where the Autobots made their big "we're not dead" return was shot at that plant.

That page is pretty cool, if you slide your mouse from one side of the page to the other, it fades from "now" to "then" pictures.
