I usually get ceramic pads for my car and they usually work for a long time. The ones I bought 2 years ago sucked and were worn out before the 2 yr mark (45k-ish).. I heard that there are metallic pads that come with a lifetime warranty. I want to know what the scoop is with those for the next time they need changing.

I never thought I was all that bad on brakes. I drive fast, but rarely brake hard. The ones I replaced are the same style I usually get, but these just didn't last as long as the ones I have bought in the past.
