I need a WR in one of my money leagues and have Brandon Gibson, Donnie Avery and Rod Streater to choose from.

Suggestions?

Why does she call me with shit like that? There is nothing I can do over the phone while I am working. She rebooted it, I told her to reboot it a few more times and I would look at it when I got home.

SHe really only users it for internet and skype. I have a feeling it is skype's fault.

its some type of virus thingy, I've seen it before. pretty easy to remove once you figure out what is causing it

or

tell her to ctrl alt delete, run, explorer.exe that might fix the problem

I think their wireless router must suck. I have to keep it in the basement b/c the xbox won't work without the hardwire b/c it was so slow. I had to get an extender to get it from the basement up to the office on the second floor, where most of the work use is done. That leaves the main floor as kind of a lost land of internet between the two, where you just have to hope i works well. That is why I am upgrading.

Skype sucks since Microsoft started messing things up.

I am pretty sure I will get home and it will be working fine when I boot it up. That is usually what happens.

25/25 should be fast as hell. Sounds like you have something else going on. I'd have someone look at the lines before spending the money to upgrade. What do you currently get for speeds using speedtest.net?

I know with U-Verse, the cable boxes have an ethernet port on the back, where I can plug a normal network cable in, and get on the internet, and on my network through that. It's just like plugging into the router.
Maybe Verizon has that too?

I will have to check on that when I get home b/c that would make it easier. I could run a wireless router out of the upstairs cable box.
