I wonder if it has something to do with the torrential rain from last night.

does it say on the dash contact sirius?

sometimes they need to rebroadcast the signal, but if there is no signal than they can scan it and it will tell you immediately if its the car of the satelite.

usually, unless something has damaged the antenna, its the module/radio unit.
