also even though those doctors in the military use the term doctor in the real world they are equal to what is called a Physician Assistant

when you've suffered through 4 years of undergrad, 4 years of medical school or 5/6 years of PhD. You've EARNED the right to be called doctor. And by suffering it is, I didnt leave the house for 3 years cause I was too busy studying 18 hours a day

I always thought the "PHD" I've heard is the abriviation of a doctorate degree.
Is PhD really the only abriviation in the field?
