depends upon which bone, where on the bone it occurs, how severe the fracture, is it angulated or displaced, etc?

Great....what happens if you don't do anything...she has 2 small fractures in her back....the one was getting a LOT less painful for her then she opened a stuck window and heard something pop and the x-ray shows another fracutre now...she doesn't want to have surgery or anything like that...

depending upon how severe the fracture, it will heal on its own. Given the age of you mother, this may take some time to heal on its own. I'm more concerned with the fact that your mothers bones are so weak that she can fracture them by opening a window.

The Windows taskbar?
If you right click on in, and make sure it's "unlocked", you can left click on it, hold the button down and just drag it to the bottom.
