Does anyone have any experience with ereaders?

I was looking into picking up the B&N Nook to load some PDF books I have for work, but I wanted to know if anyone has one and what they thought of it.

I think they are gay and lazy. I prefer a good old fashioned book.
I was a Little League superstar, don't hate.

Did you think lap tops, and cell phones were gay and lazy when they first showed up?

They're not really gay and lazy when you can carry around one small device instead of a bunch of big books. The books are also much cheaper and can be pirated.

I also think that if anyone else would have asked this question it wouldn't have been gay.

Just sayin'

He probably would have said it was gay if it was me too.
Everyone I've talked to about them, love them. And that they're a lot easier on your eyes then a computer screen.
I got the Kindle for my mom, about a month before they lowered the price.
The screen really does look like paper, it's pretty cool. The Batteries last forever.

The thing I liked about the Nook is that it uses Barnes & Noble along with Google Books. It's also powered by Android.

Im not big on the ereaders but I just bought one as a gift. Nook looks awesome, I was just giving some cheap options.
Why not get a low level iPad? $499
To convert PDFs into a more friendly format for ereaders you can use Calibre, it also can automatically download newspapers and syncs them to your device

I thought about the ipad, but that's an additional $300. Great info about the converters. I was afraid to buy one and not be able to read the books I downloaded.
