Sirus 108... "The Future?"
#1
After Friday's show I tweeted this out and got a response from Ellis, I thought is was kind of funny...

@JDubb: RT: Is it true Sirius XM is revamping 108 to a new talk channel featuring @CovinoandRich and @EllisMate called "The Future?"” <= no

I am not familiar with Twitter, is that no at the end Ellis's reply?

I was doing another random show brainstorm at work last night and started thinking about new channel names again. Now that the guys are pals with Ellis, maybe there's a chance he'd be part of a new channel too. There's got to be something that incorporates both of them...

"The Future" obviously works, but I'm not so sure that screams "young guy talk." There's got to be a word, a phrase, an idiom, or some sort of play on words that would get the point across that the station is for relevant, cool guy talk.

Here are some random word(s) I came up with:

Man-archy
The Man Zone
Rogue
The Pack
The Trend
The Source
Domination
Stoked
Transition
Flux
The Axis
Ego (I bet Covino would like this, ha :mrgreenSmile
Type A (or possibly "Type M" for men?)

"The Tangent" was suggested by BDH a while ago which isn't bad either. Some other older suggestions I've seen are decent - Revolution, Razor, Hang-Out...and obviously "Dudebro Radio" would be sweet too, ha.

There's a few to start off with...anyone like any of these, or can you work off of these to figure out another name?

1) Is SiriusXM planning on changing the name of the channel?

and

2) Are they actually taking suggestions from listeners?

Will Sirius be opening a Michigan office soon and will they be hiring?

When are you just going to get someone at Sirius to hire you?

I don't think the channel needs a new name. Sirius will end up naming it something retarded like Froggy or Kiss, the dumb local radio stations around here. Not that "Stars Too" is great, but it works.

Didn't they say something yesterday about Maxim wanting to get associated with the show again?
Maybe there's a chance it could come back
