Interesting product. It looks like a mini-computer/TV type thing. I think it will be hard to carry around though. But, I suppose if you want a larger multimedia device, it is a pretty good one. It'd be good for Mac users. Too expensive for me, plus I'm not a big gadget person nor am I out and about enough to need something like this.

They are pretty reflective too. Did anyone ever tell you that you resemble Ed Kowalczyk? Big Grin

I don't get what the point of having an iPad is. I can boot up my laptop if I want to read the internet at home and I don't like reading e-books or watching movies on a screen that size.

Haha there are thousands of unboxing videos on YouTube, i find them entertaining.
It's the same as an iPod/iPhone but with a bigger screen and faster. It won't replace a laptop or a smart phone but its somewhere between. Larger screen makes things easier on the eyes and the small size makes it more portable than a laptop. I travel once a quarter for work so this will be good inflight
Much faster and more responsive than the iPhone 3GS. I'm a gadget guy (a big mac fan) and like to have the latest toy but for the average person the iPad isn't needed

How does it connect to the internet? Wifi? If there is no wifi in the area, can it still connect?
