I just realized that Shome is no longer my friend on FB.

So, the chick I work with told me today that her hubby's concrete company is in crisis. Their supplier is out of concrete.

Can't he just switch suppliers? My supplier is one of the largest in the area. I am my own aggregate supplier so I as long as I can keep up I have concrete

I guess they are working on that. You'd think they would use multiple suppliers since they tend to do work for GM.

You can't flip flop suppliers too much. Each suppliers powder is different and if they get mixed you get a wonky coloured pad. We use a pure Portland GU type of powder from LaFarge, it dries a medium lite grey. A friends plant uses a flyash Portland mixture and his comes out a darker grey.
