This is a pretty expensive adventure for Toyota.

Toyota has already paid at least $1.6 billion to car owners for lawsuits in the cases and paid federal fines of $16.375 million in 2010 and a $17.35 million fine in 2012 for delays in safety defect reporting to NHTSA.

I sat in that thunderbird. Its very tight, and kind of clausterphobic. I'm an average size guy, and wasn't comfortable in it. the steering wheel touches my thighs. and sitting in the seat my head is right in the spot behind the door windows, and and above the port holes. so I have no vision to the side.

The '02 T-Birds had those windows too. I thought they looked sharp.

seems like every spring, people drag their collectible cars out of the back of the garage and bring them down here. spend a bunch of money getting them running, steering, and driving right, then park them back in the garage, then repeat the process every 2-3 years.

they all have stale gas, they all have rodent odors, and a mouse nest somewhere, and they all have at least 2 decent fluid leaks.
