Friday 1/17/14.....Busy weekending

Yeah. People aren't.
I always wonder what would possessed the people who originally settled there.
Like they got there, looked around, and said "Yep, this is where we'll live."
Then when some of them survived the first winter, they didn't leave.

It's really not that bad. It's cold out but you get used to it.

I can actually believe that.
After that week of -30, now even when it gets down to single digits it doesn't seem so bad.

It's supposed to be 7F next week

One day I hope we have Canada's health insurance too.

You could just move to Canada. Manitoba & Saskatchewan are flat which is why we get crazy winter storms & incredibly hot summers. Cities like Toronto, Ottawa, and both east & west coasts are warmer and get the odd bits of snow.

I want to move somewhere that has no seasons. I just want it to be 70 all the time.

That would get boring, though.
