I think Nirvana was alright, just another one of the good bands in the 90's to me.

But if that's really how you guys feel about people who kill themselves, that's pretty messed up.
Celebrity or not, that's messed up.

thats not how I feel about all people who kill themselves.

Some people don't have the options/money to get themselves checked out by doctors or afford therapy. This guy had the world at his fingertips, and pissed it all away. He self medicated himself, knowing that he had issues. He started a horrible chain reaction to the ways kids responded personally to issues of depression and mental health.

Now, the music of Nirvana was decent at best for when they were around. I personally feel the only reason people love them is because he killed himself, and not because the music was that great.

Getting help isn't about having the money and options to do so. People who are messed up enough to kill themselves need help getting help. It's not always as obvious as the people who cry out for help with a weak "suicide attempt".
Celebrities and normal people have been getting hooked on drugs and destroying their lives since long before Cobain. To even hint that he started some trend that had never existed isn't fair.

Nirvana was the first huge grunge band before he killed himself. You say he had the world at his fingertips, then that people only love him because he killed himself. They were the biggest band in the world for a while...
Yeah, a lot of people take it way to personally, and get way to emotional about it, but that's no reason to think less about him.

All I'm saying is it's a tragedy.
His life affected a lot of people.
