Dermal anchors. They're worse than piercings. Basically it's a stud on the end of a perforated shoe horn. They cut into you, spin it around in the skin to separate the meat, and the skin heals through the holes. Why anyone would get one, I have NO idea, but I know quite a few girls with them.
