I had my morning meeting with the boss. It appears as though he's planning to move on as though this will remain my job. (For now any way) :grin: Truth is, I would be ok either way. This job is tough, but I am enjoying the challenge. At the same time, though, I wouldn't mind staying home and collect unemp until this lil bit is born... the daily moments of complete exhaustion are the reason behind that.

so I had to do my brakes yesterday......which sucks. I'm glad I didn't have to pay someone to do it.

I got 150000km (95k mi) out of them. I was hoping for more

I usually get ceramic pads for my car and they usually work for a long time. The ones I bought 2 years ago sucked and were worn out before the 2 yr mark (45k-ish).. I might as well bought the carbon pads for that short of a life span. Fortunately, they were under warranty, so they didn't cost me a dime to get replaced. I heard that there are metallic pads that come with a lifetime warranty. I want to know what the scoop is with those for the next time they need changing.

the compound really doesn't cause that much of a difference. Driving style does.

I never thought I was all that bad on brakes. I drive fast, but rarely brake hard. The ones I replaced are the same style I usually get, but these just didn't last as long as the ones I have bought in the past.
