9/11/12 - Patriot Day

I got the fantasy hockey league up again. Brampton and Chip, love to have you guys back again. LeNeve, it would be cool if you want in also.

So the last week in sports sucked for me.

Started with Pitt get blown out on national TV. Pitt sucks b/c their QB is terrible. I think they will be good again next year.

Then the Pirates get swept by the freaking Cubs and lose to the Reds last night after loading the bases with no outs in the 14th and not scoring.

Of Course the Steelers lost, but I am not really that upset about that, it was one game against a good team with one of the best QB's ever.

The real kicker was I went 0-4 in my fantasy football teams. I was so bad, I got first waivers in 2 of them, 2nd waivers in one (Brampton got 1st, but we have no waivers anyway) and 4th waivers in the last. Brampton, thank your brother for dropping CJ Spiller for me.

To top it all off, I had the Saints in my suicide pool.

Looking forward to a better week this week!!!!

You did the right thing though. As commish, you have to hold yourself to a higher standard and follow the rules to a tee. I do the same in my leagues.

I think I first got internet in 1995, so I had AOL for 4 years I think. I think I first got DSL in 1999. I could be wrong on that date though.

I remember it taking forever for pictures to load, made jerking it to online porn rather tough.

Ehh, I let it sit a day or two or else I have found historically that someone will bitch. It is easier to just let it sit for two days than have two friends mad at each other over a fantasy trade.

I'm not planning on doing it this year.
Every year I go through the draft, then just set my rosters each week.
The only time I make roster changes is when someone is hurt for more then a week.
Then I either have a shitty week in the playoffs and finish in the middle, or finish 3rd.
