I also find it amazing how many people will abandon so much good shit in the storage lockers.
About every 2-3 months I'll see an ad in the paper saying if someone doesn't pay for locker #123456 they will auction it off. I've never seen one go all the way to auction here.

I kind of feel bad for the storage locker people that can't pay. Then you get these maniacs just digging through their shit like nothing. I'm sure most of them are willful neglect to pay the rent. I'm sure alot of them are people down on their luck too. Maybe had to move to a smaller house, couldn't sell the stuff, put it in storage, then shit just got worse for them from there.
I don't feel bad for the pawn shop deals though. The people make a willful decision, then physically take the stuff to get it sold. Full control on their part selling to a pawn shop.

Could you rent a storage unit, then put a bunch of trash that's reall expensive to dump in the unit, then default on it? like tires and old batteries, used oil, shit like that?

It's amazing how 90% of the world saw Clint Eastwood speak and and thought it was awkward to watch yet my Facebook friends got all pumped up and thought it was amazing.
