so I love the x12's for exactly what their suppose to do. I also hate them because I have no clue what is going on outside of my gaming.

I do not hear the phone ring, doorbell, anything. my girlfriend gets annoyed when I am focused on the game & I don't pay attention to her. Last night I couldn't even hear her talk to me. I know we can make a joke about this, but I may just use these for then she is sleeping. I may go pick up a pair of the old school headphones, so I can hear what is going on around me!

Are you guys running into the same problem?

Yes, I have to set my cell phone on it's kick stand on the table in line of sight to the TV to tell if anyone calls.

My wife came down to talk to me and I could not hear her last night. At all.

I can not hear ANYTHING but the game.

The sound is great, but I hear what you are saying.
