Hes drunk from anger about his house fallin apart. Thats the only thinig about being a home owner I don't like, having to fix shit ALL the time.

The time I spend at work is more relaxing than being home for this reason. The sad thing is the house is only 7 years old.

So a few months ago a football sized piece of concrete fell off the back of a PENDOT truck and about 5 people hit it on the highway, including me. It bent my aluminum wheel and cracked it, causing the seal on my new tire to be real weak. Yesterday I finally got it fixed, cost me $100 for the guy to fix it, but it beats paying at least $400 for a new wheel, and it looks great, got a new tire for another $98 and I am rolling smooth.

Now I need to get the power socket in the middle console fixed/replaced, if Beckster ever finds out how much that will cost me.....2009 Sonata Limited............ :poke:

It seems like there is nothing that can ever be fixed for under $100 on a car any more. My wife dropped her ipod into her middle console on her Nissan, I tried getting it out and couldn't, my dad, who is a mechanic, tried getting it out and couldn't. She went into the dealer to get an oil change and they want $100 to take it out. Fuck them! If thyey had not designed it so poorly, shit wouldn't fall down there, apparently it's a huge issue, people all over their forums complaining about it. :flame:

They do the same shit here at this dealer. Charge a minimum of one hour no matter what. I feel bad about it. I think anything under 15 minutes should be complimentary, then they will be happy to come back for the major work. I get paid hourly though, so thats why I think that way. Flat rate guys hate shit like that.

It depends on the billing staff and some times the mechanic. When I would bill invoices at Maxim if something was simple like wiper blades or topping up fluids instead of charge .2 of an hour, I would move tech time and charge them nothing.
