'04 Impala wipers
#1
My brother's old car got totalled, and he didn't want to spend a lot on something new so he got an Imala at a police auction where he works.

It's mostly in good shape, except the windshield wiper motor was in the trunk.
We hooked it up, it didn't work. We got a new motor, it still didn't work, so that's not the problem.
The wire, and connection look good, so it's not corroded.
He can get it to spray the washer fluid, just not the actual wipers moving.
Any ideas? Could it be the controller, or switch, or what ever it's called in the dash?

yeah, it has got to be the switch/lever however an impala works. Try finding a blown fuse or bad relay first though. Hard to tell which relay, or fuse goes to what with out a wiring diagram though. Worst case, you have an open in the wiring somewhere. That would suck.

:?
Yeah, I was afraid of that.
I was hoping there was just some other part I didn't know about.
Maybe I'll go watch Flash of Genius to research this.
