The mayor of Atlanta sees no local buyer willing to buy the Thrashers and keep the team in Atlanta.

Red Wings blue line is in trouble. Rafalski is retiring and Lidstrom is leaning toward retirement. If the NHL makes drastic changes to protect from concussions, Kronwell becomes less effective. Ericcson, Meech and Salei are all UFA's.

They could easily lose 5 of their top 9 defensemen and Janik, Stuart and Kronwell are UFA's after next season. That leaves only Kindl as a definite 2013 Red Wing.

I know they will sign some of those guys, but still scary when you think about it. That team is not getting any younger.
I was a Little League superstar, don't hate.

Dudebro #5 on the Rich Davis poll and Dudebro #11 on the Steve Covino Poll.  Former Dudebro #18.

I've been saying that for 15 years. And the bastards always seem to pull something out of their ass.
"Yzerman and Shannahan are almost done? Oh, good thing we drafted this Russian and Swede in the 7th round."

But I've been hearing they might make a pitch for Webber. An offer sheet, or trade for his rights, or something.

I've almost given up on hoping for them to fall off.

Thank God.
I think the NHL finally fixed it's worst part.

I wonder if this really matters.
If they sell 10,000, would they really not approve it?
