Now, with all the positive things happening with the north american car companies there is one thing that bothers me about them.....why don't they have any passenger vehicles with diesel?

this is a market they have worldwide but not here. I would love a diesel car, but cant buy one from one of the big 3........WHY????

Where would you buy gas for it???? plus aren't they loud??? What is the plus side of diesels???

every gas station sells diesel, they are very quiet, and the fuel economy is almost 2:1 to gas.
A VW gets 1200Km to a 45L tank, as opposed to 500-600 km to a 45 L tank

But, at least GM has re-paid most of it, and Chrysler is about to.

The noise about diesels is probably the biggest misconception about them.
Just because the HD trucks and semies are loud, people think the cars would be too.

I hate Focus'. They are such an ugly car. I don't get the entire hatchback phenom... I called it the butt back because it looks like a fat person is bent over.

Not much snow here, but it is a cold mo sucka. My car barely started, then when it did, it was all noisy from the belt and pulleys. I was going to pull my grampa's diesle truck up close to my house last night so I could plug it in, but it was too cold already. I'll have to take home a bunch of extension cords now, maybe a battery charger.

I'm leaning toward Ford for my next car.
I can get the employee discount from my cousin, and I can't get the Chrysler anymore.

Brampton that's a great color combo!!! I hate when people get than crap color tan interior...I HATE it. My boss had a red benz w/tan interior... :barf: why would someone do that??? (No offense to people w/tan interiors....I just hate them.) :boobs:
