Depends on the assignment. For the Bikini team, specifically, it's a combination of personality and looks. She can be the hottest girl in the world, but if she's got the attitude of Megan Fox, eventually she'll be out of work (one of the reasons she's not in Transformers 3). So these girls normally have to be very outgoing and have great looks.

Now of course, there are always mistakes that can be made (had 2 girls chased out of the studio because they were wet mops on the radio), but we've refined that lately and soon we'll be back and have better presence on the show.
