I agree, Joe... I think the biggest mistake(among many) right now, is the lack of a morning show... I don't know how old the Ellis shows they play are, nor do I care... but, I guess their loyalty is to the Morning Mashup, so adding another live morning show is out of the question...

Yeah, they need a dedicated morning show if C&R is ever going to be on a channel with relevant shows like they were with Maxim.

I'm pretty sure the Ellis replay is from the previous day on Faction. I actually think the show is fairly entertaining and could be among a "dude channel" with C&R. It's Howard-esque humor that plays well for a morning show. The problem is that Ellis is on the West Coast and wouldn't be able to do it in the morning even if he wanted to. That would relegate him to afternoons or drive time. C&R can't do the morning show either due to Rich being on the Mashup, and it wouldn't work if they would go full-time to LA either.

Someone needs to find 2 younger dude talk shows to fill the morning and the evening shift. If they do that, they could have a decent channel again. They could throw the Fools' Advice type shows in an afternoon slot between the main shows, and everything would be OK. I said the other day that it'd be interesting if Patrick would jump over from Cosmo to do a show on 108. For the hell of it, let's give Zito a shot at an evening show. I think that would work!

Something like this might be cool:

6-9 - Patrick's Show
9-1 - Ellis' Show (morning drive for the West Coast)
1-3 - Revolving specialty show (Fools' Advice, Wine and Web, other dude stuff on the other days)
3-7 - C&R
7-10 - Zito's Show
10-2 - Ellis Replay
2-6 - C&R Replay

The sticking point would be C&R probably not wanting to go back to 3-7. They like the earlier hours so they get out of work faster. The only downside is suckier listener numbers. But, if they go West Coast they'd be done at 4 which isn't too bad. I don't know...things could be flipped around however it needs to in order to make everyone happy.
