It just hit the stores and a bought a bottle at the grocery store today.
Tastes like a real good batch of brew this year. Some years are better than others, this year seems to be one of the best. Pick up a case RIGHT AWAY!!!!

Pete is right.
Sam Adams Boston Lager is bad beer in my opinion. However their Octoberfest is truly great. I like it better than I like New Belgium Brewery's Hoptoberfest and that is saying something.
Generally the SA seasonals are good and their non-seasonals are bad.

Friday night I went to our local pizza place that has a huge beer selection. I started off with their pint of the month which is Beck's Octoberfest. It was aight. Not great but decent. Then we went to SA's Octoberfest and it was really really good.
I like it a lot. I'll buy a case in the next week or so.
