Philly has a black tie event the weekend b4 the car show opens up to the public. I would love to surprise Boe w/tickets to that....but he would have to get a tux, etc. We'll see. It sounds nice, no crowds of people and little kids running around. and you get food and drinks!!!!

They do that here.
But, I want to say it's something like $300 or $400 a ticket.
I don't want to do it that bad.

Public Admission Tickets are $12. I might go on Sunday with my sister.

I saw an old buddy over the weekend that I haven't seen in a few years. He began telling me about how successful he is and describing all of the "things" he has. He said that he recently bought 2 paid of jeans & shirts that cost him $750. That really gets under my skin & annoys me. Nothing wrong with being financially successful, but bragging & flaunting your goods is not cool...thoughts???

He sounds shallow and like he's overcompensating to get attention that his parents didn't give him.

Damn Chip....I didn't realize it was THAT expensive. I was thinking even like 100 per ticket was bad. I haven't looked up the price yet, but I am NOT spending that much $$ for something like that. although I think the $$ is like a donation...but that is way too much.

Always go on the public schedule. During the week is the best.
